This Privacy Policy describes how Spaceland ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices.

2. Information We Collect

The App collects and stores the following information locally on your device:

• Birth Records: Personal information including names, dates of birth, birth times, birth locations (latitude and longitude), and optional profile images.
• App Preferences: Settings and preferences you configure within the App, such as display options for astrological features.
• Search History: Records of recently searched items within the App.

All information is stored locally on your device using device storage (SQLite database and AsyncStorage). Additionally, if you choose to submit an Observation, the text you provide is transmitted to our servers for review and possible inclusion in the App's shared library.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used solely to provide the App's functionality:

• To generate and display astrological charts and calculations.
• To remember your preferences and settings.
• To provide search functionality and maintain search history.
• To improve our astrological database through user-submitted observations.

Processing of birth records and preferences occurs locally on your device. We do not use your information for advertising, analytics, or any other purposes beyond providing the App's core functionality.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your personal information to any third parties. Shared observations may be made visible to other users of the App after review, but these do not contain personal identifying information beyond what you explicitly include in the observation text.

The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. We do not engage in cross-app or cross-site tracking.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your local data is stored on your device using SQLite database for birth records and search history, and AsyncStorage for app preferences and settings. Submitted observations are stored on our secure servers.

Local data is protected by your device's built-in security features. We recommend that you keep your device secure with a passcode or biometric authentication.

If you delete the App, all associated data stored locally on your device will be removed.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your local data. You can add, edit, or delete birth records at any time through the App's interface. You can modify or reset your app preferences in the Settings screen. Deleting the App will remove all locally stored data.

7. Observation Removal

If you have submitted an observation and wish to request its removal from our records, please follow these steps:

• Identify: Find the observation text in the App.
• Request: Email support@spaceland.app with that text to request removal.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
